Marcus leads research and data projects on customer insight, proposition development, thought leadership, customer experience innovation, future market drivers and brand tracking. This includes research design, analysis and outputs including presentations.
Before Davies Hickman
Managing Director of The Henley Centre (now part of Kantar formerly WPP). Worked for VSO (Voluntary Services Overseas) and as an economist in Australia where he was brought up.
Jo Davies MIPD, ACCA (p/q), MBA
Jo is expert in new proposition development and B2B content marketing including customer experience strategy. She directs projects combining qualitative and quantitative research with the latest data analysis techniques. She has been selected to be a BSI Customer Service Committee member, the ISO Contact Centre UK delegate and regularly judges industry awards.

She was a trainer, qualifying in psychometrics, and lectured at the Cranfield School of Management.

With over 17 years’ experience in B2B and B2C marketing and sales, Ayes advises clients on the development and implementation of business transformational projects to build strategies that deliver step changes in customer experience and accelerated revenue, profit, and or surplus. He provides consultancy support for projects in technology, communications, education, insurance, software, clean technology, housing, government and not for profit arenas. And especially for those who operate in complex, competitive and continually evolving UK and international markets.
Strategic Market Research Consultant
Chris specialises in developing new methodologies to help industry professionals’ position and market their products and services more effectively. He combines the latest thinking in marketing theory together with new techniques in market research to get under the skin of how consumers evaluate brands. Chris is a hispanophile and loves to talk business over a selection of tapas plates.
Emily Harris has 23 years experience of building strong brands and client partnerships, working as a senior designer both client and agency side. She enjoys problem solving and creating effective design that delivers a clear, concise and authentic message, across a broad range of digital and print media. Outside of work she enjoys an outdoor active life especially cold water swimming.
Jane is passionate about simplifying the message. Bringing structure to thoughts and order to copy, she combines her PR experience and Economics degree with her love of language to craft accessible and coherent reports. When not making effective use of words, she is happiest on the golf course.
Ella conducts research and data analysis to aid with client projects. Also playing a part in Davies Hickman marketing activities for their social media, blogs, newsletters and website. Ella enjoys applying her university theory into practice.
Tilly & Tess
A dog-loving business, Davies Hickman Partners is energised by Tess and Tilly who regularly visit the office and sometimes sleep during Teams and Zoom calls.
